Burcu Bölükbaş received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ankara University. She completed her Master’s degree in Neuroscience at Istanbul Medipol University, where her thesis investigated the temporal resolution of visual perception and its relation to oscillatory brain dynamics. During her time in the EEG and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, she also conducted research on emotional-cognitive processing, sleep deprivation, and sensory entrainment.

Since 2023, she has been pursuing a PhD in Clinical-Experimental Neuroscience and Psychiatry at Sapienza University of Rome, under the supervision of Prof. Claudio Babiloni.
